Cliq does not appear in app ▾
Make sure Bluetooth on your phone is turned on.
Android system requires location permissions to be enabled when scanning for Bluetooth (BLE) devices. Please ensure that both Bluetooth and location permissions (GPS) are enabled when using the app.
Cliq does not appear on the app when it's paired to other mobile devices. If so, try again after un-pairing, or factory reset Cliq.

Cliq not seen by app after failed firmware update ▾
When a firmware update is initiated, Cliq resets into firmware update mode. Upon a successful firmware update, Cliq will change back to normal operation. If, for any reason, the firmware update fails, Cliq will stay in the firmware update mode. During this time, Cliq will not been seen by the app. However, after approximately 3 minutes, Cliq will go back to normal operation.
How to factory reset ▾
In some situations, you may need to reset your device to factory condition.

1. Turn off Cliq.
2. Using the button on Cliq, apply a double click followed by a long click.
3. Hold the long click until you see all the red LEDs turn on and the blue LED blink.
4. All LEDs will turn off automatically after approximately 3 seconds.


* If you fail to trigger the factory reset. Go back to 1 and try again.
*This will reset your device into factory condition. Please note that you need to turn on Cliq at least once to activate the Bluetooth inside.

How does Synchronization work? ▾
Synchronization will enable two or more devices (Cliq) to flash the same pattern at the same time. The timing of the flashing is achieved in an autonomous manner, not the flashing pattern. The desired flashing pattern must be configured on each device beforehand.

An example procedure for setting up synchronization of two devices A and B:
1. Set the blinking pattern in Mode 1 of device A to glow, glow, glow and also enable Synchronization in Mode 1.
2. Set the blinking pattern in Mode 3 of device B to glow, glow, glow and also enable Synchronization in Mode 3.
3. Turn on device A and set to Mode 1. Turn on device B and set to Mode 3.
4. The blinking patterns of each device will start to synchronize.

What does Personalization do? ▾
When Personalization in enabled, your device (Cliq) will only be seen by your phone, meaning that only you will be able to connect to it.
You may not be able to see your device if you have reinstalled the app or changed your phone after enabling Personalization. In this situation, a factory reset is required.

Cliq refuses to connect to phone ▾
Cliq can only be connected through our app, My Cliq. Trying to connect Cliq from the system settings of your phone will result in an error.
